Will 5 Second Audio Ads be as Big as Adsense?
William Lund asked:
There is a new advertising kid on the block, and it’s NetAudioAds. They are 5 second long audio ads that play through a computer’s speakers when a visitor lands on a page that has the code on it. As the visitor waits for your page to load, the ad plays.
Once the ad plays, another ad will not play for at least 3 minutes. If after 3 minutes the visitor refreshes the page, or goes to another page on the site with the NetAudioAd code on it then the visitor will hear another ad.
When I first heard about the program my initial reaction was negative…Audio Pop-ups! I thought, just another annoyance to deal with as I surf the net. But after I had studied the issue I changed my mind. Now I think they are quite interesting and I’m anxious to see how it all plays out.
It’s a great program if you are the publisher of a website.
• You get paid for every visitor!
• The visitor does not have to click anything!
• Your visitor does not leave your website!
• The ad does not take up any room on your site.
• It ads work with blogs as well as websites.
• It doesn’t cost a penny to join…no risk.
You put a little piece of JavaScript code on your page and you are done! The audio ads don’t interfere with any other advertising including Adsense ads.
At the current prices publishers are getting about $1.00 for every 300 visitors.
If you as a publisher sign up another publisher you get a smaller piece of the ads that play on that publisher’s site as well. It’s actually a 3 tiered program.
Studies have shown that a 5 second audio ad is too short to annoy most people, and the ad does not take your visitor away from your site, so there is nothing to lose!
For the advertiser NetAudioAds can:
• Accurately track/target the ad spot
• The ad can be tracked from inception to close
• The ad can be geographically targeted
• The ad can be targeted to a specific time of day
• The ad can be contextually targeted to match the website it’s played on
• The ads can provide a higher conversion rate than Radio or TV.
• Because the ads are on the Internet, consumers can respond immediately.
Unlike Television and Radio, the listener is sitting at the computer, having just clicked on a link to open a new page in their browser. They are attentive and waiting in anticipation for the new page to load when the ad plays. The ad grabs their attention and they actually think about it.
• The listener is not in the bathroom
• The listener is not in the kitchen getting a snack
• The listener is not driving down the turnpike.
• The listener is not chatting with a friend.
The NetAudioAds program has been underway since early February on a limited basis until they get all the bugs out of the system, but people are already beginning to make money with the program.
As far as I am concerned there is one thing that will determine how well this program works and indeed if it will even survive. For the program to work, the ads will have to work. If the ads work for the advertisers, and I think they will, then the advertisers will clamor for the ads, and the publishers will flock to the program.

Market and Track Effectiveness of Marketing With Online Advertising Company
Deepak Kamboj asked:
Which is easier – to play wild guesses on number of people eyeing upon your ads on billboards or tracking Internet users to click at your ads? Yes, when it is really, rather of high importance to check effectiveness of an ad, online advertising can deliver precise data than traditional advertising entities. Online ad companies can take quick measurements of number of clicks each advertisement gets. Which advertisements received more frequent clicks, per day how many clicks that advertisement draws, how many potential viewers actually are clicking on these ads, how many clicks generated leads, sales etc. can be taken under control by using interactive, Internet advertising techniques.
Having cutting edge application software installed, ad agencies effortlessly can come to conclude exact
1.number of clicks for visiting landing pages
2.number of people completed registration
3.how many people took research on products
4.how many people left sites without buying
5.how many people made purchase.
6.How effective is a particular keyword to bring clicks
Hence, this easiness of assessing revenues had beefed up need of online advertising in increase of sales of business. Besides there are also low cost advertising services that are mainly targeted for small businesses who cannot afford hefty investments. To enable sustain these companies ad agencies have devised low cost click strategies. Unlike biggies in the industry, these small entities cannot spend millions on keyword through Google Adwords, a highly popular search engine marketing tool. Then how come smaller companies compete against bigger counterparts in their industry?
Online advertising agencies optimize contents of a site with keywords that big companies do not buy. Nonetheless, these agencies utilize only those most relevant keywords that their targeted fragment of audience is prone to type at search box. This is how, small business owners can pull their fair share of traffic and can plan which keywords are the most effective in bringing them business.
There is another way smaller companies can drive traffic to their sites is through social community sites. Facebook, Myspace, YouTube etc., sites can fragment internet users depending upon interests, occupation, age, regions etc. Companies can utilize these classified group of internet users to sell their products and services by publishing ads on these sites as per consumers’ choices. Online advertising agency provides them precise ad planning and execution solutions to grab attention of their fragment of users.

Is a GPS Fleet Tracking System Right for My Business?
Don Mastrangelo asked:
If you are a Fleet Owner you’ve probably been thinking about installing a GPS system in your fleet for years, BUT…you’ve hesitated. You’re just not sure. Will it really make a difference? Is it worth the investment? How will I break the news to my drivers?
I’ve been gratified and amazed time after time over the last seven years as hundreds of my customers have experienced immediate savings and control of their fleets – they all say the same thing – “…I wish I’d done this sooner!”.
When I first started installing GPS Fleet Tracking systems back at the “turn of the century” the early adopters felt like pioneers, and wanted to be the first on their block to have this cutting-edge technology. The majority of Fleet Owners waited. They missed out while their competitors saved big. Amazingly, as of this writing less than ten percent of fleet owners have installed a GPS Fleet Tracking system. Why? Simple – too much confusion. Fleet owners are bombarded with direct mail ads and telemarketing calls from salespeople selling everything from battery operated devices to GPS enabled cell phones. An in-vehicle, real time system is the only real choice. The other systems will not give you the reliable, timely information you need and are more trouble than they are worth. Besides that, the in-vehicle solutions have become very affordable and easy to install and – most importantly – almost always pay for themselves within their first ninety days!
Is a GPS Fleet Tracking system right for your business? Try to identify areas in which you are experiencing inefficiencies or un-necessary costs where a GPS Fleet Tracking system can have an immediate and lasting impact:
1. Do your drivers take their vehicles home with them? If so, are they permitted to use your vehicles for personal use? Fleet Owners are astounded when they see immediate savings on fuel, miles driven and overtime while simultaneously reducing liability as a result of unauthorized use and speeding.
2. Do you pay your drivers by the hour? Do they use a paper time card to record start and stop times? In general, I’ve learned that most employees are not “out to get” their employers, but it is hard not to fudge the time card a little. Saving only ten minutes per day of time card abuse will easily pay for your system all by itself!
3. Are you concerned that your employees are doing side jobs you are not getting paid for? With a GPS Fleet Tracking system you’ll get paid for every job performed by your assets.
4. Are you concerned about potential liabilities if your drivers are speeding or driving recklessly? With GPS you are virtually riding along with every driver, all day every day. Your drivers will know it and will think twice before putting your assets at risk!
Why not keep more of the money that is already flowing through your business! Over the past seven years I’ve learned that (understandably) fleet owners simply will not purchase a system unless they are absolutely convinced that it will save them much more than it costs. Once again, most Fleet Owners find that their GPS Fleet Tracking system pays for itself within the first ninety days.
I know, you still have some concerns about how to break the news to your drivers – that’s normal. Your employees are like your family, right? I’ve learned that your best employees will embrace the system, and yes – the ones that have something to hide will fight it. In fact, you may even lose a few people – but you’ll be better off without them.
As soon as your system is up and running you’ll kick yourself for waiting this long – but you will also be thrilled with the increase in efficiencies and decrease in costs to manage your fleet.

Simple Classified Ad Writing Tips
Alex Despageto asked:
Writing classified ads are a great way of promoting your website products and services. Not only are you advertising, marketing and promoting your wares online, with some classified ad type of website, you can also benefit by generating more traffic and backlinks to your website.
Writing a classified ad is not rocket science and some of the best ads are written in a person to person tone showing the reader the features and benefits of a product or services.
The following are simple tips you can use to get better results when writing a classified ad.
1. Write two versions of your classified ad
Before you submitting your ad, take some time to write and plan out two versions of your advertisement. The first version should be 250 characters or less, while the second one should be a 3-4 paragraph version. Certain free classified ad websites will only allow brief versions of your classified ad.
2. Stay organized
Using notepad or a spreadsheet, put together a list of classified ad websites that you plan to submit to. This is important for tracking your ads and also can be used in the future when you need to post a free ad.
3. Create a selling email account
Using a service like GMail, Yahoo Mail or Hotmail, create a seller email account to ad inquiries and correspondence. It is a given that you will on occassion receive junk and spam emails. Creating a seperate account frees up your personal and business email accounts.
4. Search out free classified ad websites and evaluate them
Not all free classified ad websites are the same. Some will ask you for lot’s of information, some will give you the ability to upload photos and images, some will provide direct links to your product or service page, some will be easy to navigate, some will charge for posting an advertisment and some may not provide any value to your offering at all.
5. Always post your ad in relevant categories
This is important because you do not want to promote your resume writing services in the automotive section of the ad service. Some administartors may even delete your listing if it is not relevant to the category that you have posted in.
6. Write about the product or service features
Everyone wants information and features tell the buyer what the product or service will do. If you are selling a used car, features would be air conditioning, heated seats, power windows, etc.
7. Write about the product or service benefits
Benefits are things that will help your buyer. A benefit of an eBook is that is will make the reader financially knowledgable about taxes, will help them save money, will assist them with getting a better return during tax season.
8. Track your ads
Try to find out where your inquiries are coming from and what works best. If you are promoting your website, create a seperate landing page and view your statistics to see where people are coming from. You may be surprised what you site stats will show.
Writing classified ads may initially take some time to set up and plan, but once you have your ad copy in place you should see positive results to help your sell, market and promote your products and services on the Internet.

How to Promote Your Business Using Classified Ads
Jay Gaulard asked:
d ads can be very effective in online marketing. Free classified ads fit into every budget. It all comes down to how much time you are willing to spend creating, posting, updating and deleting ads. Depending on your particular product or service, it can be time-consuming to respond to interested parties, deliver goods or services and maintain a high level of customer service.
Selling through free classified ads can help you promote your business. Include your company’s name, product information and a website link in your ads to gain more attention. Include pictures whenever possible to give customers a better idea of what they can expect if they make a purchase from you.
The Benefits of Promoting on Classified Ad Sites
Aside from saving you money in advertising costs, placing ads on free classified sites has many other benefits. These include:
* Targeted traffic directed to your website.
* Instant posting.
* Few rules regarding what can be posted.
* The opportunity to test your ad copy at no cost before placing ads on websites that draw more traffic but charge a fee.
* The ability to track your visitors and gauge how successful each ad is.
* The ability to build your opt-in list and follow up with potential customers.
Tips for Promoting Your Business Using Free Classified Ads
Promoting your business with free classified ads is relatively easy. Still, there are some steps that can make your campaign more successful. Keep these tips in mind:
* Familiarize yourself with the terms of the classified ad site before posting. This will help you avoid having your ads deleted.
* Place ads frequently for better results. Update weekly to keep your posts at the top so you get more views.
* Remain professional, both in your classified ads and in dealings with potential customers.
* Make sure your ad shines and stands out from the crowd without being too loud or obnoxious.
* Include keywords to help targeted customers find your ads.
Classified Ads and Niche Marketing
One particularly effective way to get more targeted traffic from your free classified ads is to choose sites that are very specific in nature. For example, if you own a company that sells creative and unique baskets, then you can place your ad on a site for gifts. If you own a used car dealership, however, the gift site is not going to work for you. You can advertise in the automobile section of a general site, but you can also search for classified ad sites that are specifically geared toward car enthusiasts. The key is that visitors to these sites will already be interested in what you have to offer.
Traditional Advertising Versus Online Marketing
The advertising world has changed a lot over the last decade. Traditional print ads are not as effective as they once were. They also can be costly. Online marketing is the most effective way to promote a business, whether it is an online business or actually has a storefront. Free classified ads should certainly be included in your marketing strategy. Carefully track your website traffic to gauge how effective each ad is, and then make adjustments as needed. Online marketing is here to stay. Avoiding this valuable tool is like shutting the door on potential customers.
